Friends of St. Vincent Home for Children are many and diverse! And their ideas for reaching out and holding the hands of our children are varied also. Others have thought of creative ways to help and we can share a few of those with you.
- Host an event at your place of work – a car wash, luncheon, etc. to raise money for the kids
- Host a party at your home, inviting your guests to make a contribution or bring a gift for the children
- Host a golf tournament or other “public” fundraiser (examples include Joanie’s Pizzeria’s annual Spaghetti Wrestling Contest and four separate golf events: Bruning Loncaric, Murphy’s Bar & Grill, Sheet Metal Workers Local #36, Tom Lange)
- Host an individual or neighborhood garage sale, with the benefits to St. Vincent Home for Children
Those privileged to touch the lives of children should constantly be aware that their impact on a single child may affect a multitude of others a thousand years from now.
