St. Vincent Home for Children fulfills its mission of providing love, security and professional treatment for troubled children and their families by ensuring that it is staffed by highly qualified and caring employees with support from practicum students, interns and volunteers.
During their time with us, we serve as the family for the children who are entrusted to our care. We do all in our power to bring to them the consistent structure, therapy and love that is required for them to grow into productive and happy adults.
St. Vincent School provides special education and counseling without delay for children with behavioral and emotional disturbances and/or learning disabilities. The goal of preparing the student for a successful transition to a traditional school and classroom setting is accomplished by highly qualified and caring teachers and teacher’s aides, supported by volunteers and a crisis intervention team.
